Mr. Reaves’ focuses his practice on divorce, parentage and child custody matters, guardianship cases, alimony and child support modification and enforcement matters, as well as state and federal civil litigation. He focuses on complex and high-net worth matrimonial cases.
Mr. Reaves also practices extensively in appellate matters, both those related to family law as well as those related to civil litigation. Mr. Reaves has successfully appealed or defended appeals in more than a dozen cases, including one of the leading Oklahoma decisions on interstate jurisdiction for child custody and support matters.
After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Tulsa, Mr. Reaves attended The University of Oklahoma College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2008.
During his time at OU Law, Mr. Reaves served as editor for the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology, as well as authoring numerous articles for the journal. He also participated in the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Child Abuse and Neglect, a year-long program with an emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach to issues of child abuse and neglect taught by the Pediatrics Department at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
